Meet the SOMMELIER
Who we are
Sal Del Conte is certified by the highly-rated Wine School of Philadelphia (part of the National Wine School of the U.S.) as a Master of Wine. Sal’s passion for wine blossomed from the days of his childhood when he helped his grandfather every year choose the grapes and go through the winemaking process. It is a passion and excitement not just about the taste of the wine, but about the grapes, the regions, the cultures and the winemaking methods that all combine to make that delicious wine in your glass.
Sal has traveled to wine regions in the U.S., Europe and other countries, and is able to discuss not just the wine, but often able to recount interesting anecdotes about the grape variety, region or even the specific winery.
Our BUSINESS
What we do
Sippin’ With Sal was started to offer a greater opportunity for folks to taste the many varied and delicious wines of the world, while also learning more about the wines and, of course, having fun! We do that by curating tasting sessions in settings of all sizes from home dinner parties to corporate gatherings, to tasting events in restaurants and community centers. Our business prides itself in not only ensuring a delightful experience for the attendees but aiding you throughout the planning process in any way we can to make your event easier for you. From themed tastings (e.g. Tour of France, Tour of Napa, etc.) to wine pairings for your dinner party menu to curated tastings for your key employees or clients, we assure you of a memorable time for all.
